✍👉Definition of Shoot:

The shoot is the above-ground part of a plant, consisting of the stem, leaves, flowers, and fruits.

Functions of Shoot:

1. Support and Growth: The stem supports the plant and helps it grow towards light (phototropism).
2. Photosynthesis: The leaves, part of the shoot, are responsible for photosynthesis, producing food for the plant.
3. Transport of Water and Nutrients: The stem transports water, nutrients, and sugars between the roots and leaves.
4. Reproduction: Flowers, found in the shoot, facilitate the reproductive process by producing seeds.
5. Storage of Food: Some parts of the shoot, like the stem, store food and energy for the plant.

**शूट की परिभाषा:**  

**अंकुर** एक पौधे का ऊपरी ज़मीनी हिस्सा है, जिसमें **तना**, **पत्तियाँ**, **फूल**, और **फल** शामिल होते हैं।

**शूट के कार्य:**  

1. **समर्थन और विकास:** तना पौधे को सहारा देता है और उसे प्रकाश की ओर बढ़ने में मदद करता है (फोटोट्रोपिज्म)।  

2. **प्रकाश संश्लेषण:** पत्तियाँ, अंकुर का हिस्सा, प्रकाश संश्लेषण के लिए जिम्मेदार होती हैं, जिससे पौधे के लिए भोजन बनता है।  

3. **पानी और पोषक तत्वों का परिवहन:** तना जड़ों और पत्तियों के बीच पानी, पोषक तत्वों और शर्करा का परिवहन करता है।
